Artist Information:

Angie Stone is a Stow resident and art educator who has been teaching elementary and high school students at Nordonia Hills City Schools for twenty years.  She received her BS in Art Education from Kent State University and her Masters in the Art of Education from Marygrove College.  She also recently obtained an additional thirty credit hours through travels and studies with Dominican University of California.  Prior to becoming an art educator, Angie spent twelve years as Development Coordinator and Special Events Planner for the College of Business Administration at Kent State University.
Angie enjoys working with mixed media and repurposing many different items through application of a variety of techniques and materials.  Currently, she is focusing on resin combined with acrylic paint, metallic powder, alcohol, chalk, ink and hot glue.  Angie works with small groups of children or adults during the summer to instruct various classes in clay, paint or collage.  She can be reached at Angie-Stone@sbcglobal.net or on Facebook Instant Messenger.
