The Children's Room is an exciting place to be right now - they finally realized that it should be called "Spike's Place" and we have a new logo with a picture of me on it!!! The librarians are fixing up the room for our summer reading program, "One World, Many Stories" and it is going to be alot of fun. Miss Laurie is painting a beautiful rainforest on our windows. Miss Joan, Miss Amy, Miss Kristin and Miss Jen are working on all sorts of decorations. Miss Lydia even made a new Tween section for kids ages 8-12 to read and listen to cds and audiobooks. So come
Astronomy Club meets Wednesday, November 2 at 7 p.m. in the upstairs computer lab. This intergalactic club is for 8- to 12-year-olds. We’ll do some crafts, use iPads and more.
Join us Saturday, December 3rd between 10am and 2pm for a wondrous adventure in Candyland. Children will enjoy the magical world, and the whole family can participate in a live version of the famous board game. No registration required.
The Lion and the Mouse
Some of the children who attended the final party after our Caldecott Club - they had voted for the Lion and the Mouse as their runner up so they were very glad it won!

Check out the fun we had last week for Halloween! Our Story times all paraded around the library and got treats from each of the departments. The treats were provided by the Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library. You can also see some different pictures on our website and on our Facebook page.
