Making History Come Alive
A Living History Exhibition:
A Collection of Portraits
Through her illustrations and portraits, Linda McFarlin takes us back to the time period between 1700 and 1870. With the help of re-enactors, artifacts, historical diary entries, and research, she has concentrated on a large body of works to give you portraits and scenes from a perspective of the true American heritage.
Here are some photos of Pride in Library Day events: the Dixieland Jazz concert, the Pet Show, the Family Treasure Hunt, and the Juggler. We also promoted our Playaway audiobook format with a giveaway, and Handel's Ice Cream gave out free treats. Stow and Munroe Falls citizens love their library, and we love our patrons!
