Explore King Tut’s tomb and its treasures as M. J. Albacete presents The Tomb of Tutankhamun. Dr. Albacete’s presentation includes many vivid photographs that document the exploration and tell the story of the finding of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. King Tut was one of the most famous leaders of an ancient civilization who came into power at a young age. The discovery of his tomb has made him a very popular figure of ancient Egypt. Dr. Albacete is the executive director of the Canton Museum of Art.
Learn all about vegan nutrition during this informative program at the library. Anya Todd, a licensed dietitian specializing in vegan nutrition will be discussing the basics of vegan nutrition, explaining the components of a balanced diet; the health benefits of a vegan diet; debunking common nutrition myths; and identifying nutrients you may need to supplement.
