Meet Les Roberts, author of the popular Milan Jacovich mystery series. His latest mystery, Whiskey Island, takes place, in part, around Whiskey Island Marina. It is the 16th in the Jacovich series, but you don’t need to read the series in order – jump in anywhere.
Join us for cards and conversation! Players should arrive at 12:45 and bridge will begin promptly at 1:00 pm in the Stow Room at the library. There is no fee to join the club, but a small collection will be taken for refreshments. We will play as many hands as possible and finish by approximately 3:30 p.m. As a courtesy to all the players, please do not plan to leave early.

Harry Nelson holds the Guinness World Record for the Most Summer Olympics Attended. At age 10, he and his family attended the 1932 Los Angeles Games and, except for the Berlin Olympics in 1936, he has been at every one since.
Mr. Nelson will talk about his Olympic experiences at the library on Thursday, December 27 at 7 p.m.
