If you're bored by the end of Winter Break, stop by the library between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to try some new board games! Librarians will be on hand to teach you a new game; bring friends and family for some friendly competition. Have a great idea for your own game? We'll have materials ready for you to create your own!

and saving money in this story time at People's Bank located at 34 S.
Main St. in Munroe Falls. After story time we will get a tour of the bank!
Get in the holiday spirit with your young children, Tuesday, December 16th at 10:30am. Join Miss Amy and Mrs. Claus for a craft, stories, songs, and a visit from a special jolly guest! Program is geared towards children ages 3-5, but all are welcome. No registration necessary.
Meet the author of Bad Day Go Away. Sarah Canter will be signing books and answering questions in the library’s Children’s Department from 10 AM until Noon. Bad Day Go Away is a children’s book that teaches simple stress reduction techniques and mindfulness practices to kids, especially those that are experiencing any negative feelings that may make their day seem bad. The book also includes two extra pages at the end of the story that give specific tips on stress reduction/mindfulness practices.
Ring in the holidays with a special reading of “The Nutcracker” on November 15 at 2 p.m. Ballet Theatre of Ohio sponsors this event, and a mystery character from the ballet will tell the magical tale. As you listen, you will be transported to a Victorian Christmas with Clara and her family, and join her in the dream world of the Kingdom of Sweets.
Minecraft Mania - October 17, 2014 - No school? Nothing to do? Kids aged 6-12 can join Miss Chris in the computer lab for Minecraft! There will be two sessions available. Choose from either 1:00-2:00 pm or 2:15-3:15 pm. Registration is required. Please call the Children's Department at 330-688-3295, ext. 5 to register beginning September 29, 2014.
Little Clickers is an interactive technology class in which one 3 to 5-year-old child and a parent/caregiver work together to learn about computers.
Join Miss Amanda for a special story time at Handel's, located at 3048 Graham Road. All day Handel's will donate 50 cents of sales from any menu item to the Library Foundation. Participants must present the flyer (located here) at checkout or show a coupon via e-mail. All ages are welcome and no registration is required.
