Come into the Children's Room (Spike's Place) beginning, Monday, June 10th (or after) to sign up for the 2013 Summer Reading Program "Dig Into Reading".  Children birth through completing Grade 6 will receive a reading log to keep track of hours read.  Bring back your reading records to collect prizes and earn chances to enter our grand prize drawings.  The summer reading program ends on Saturday, August 3rd.  No prizes will be awarded after this date.

Let's celebrate our differences and learn about disabilities through the People Together Program.  For children who have completed Grades K-2 10:30 a.m.   For children who have completed Grades 3-6 11:30 a.m.  Registration required beginning June 17

The library will close early on Saturday, May 4th, due to renovations. Closing will begin at 12:30pm, and all patrons must exit the library before 1:00pm. At 1:00 pm, carpenters will begin assembly of the new circulation desk, and renovations will continue throughout the week.

During this week of renovations, no library fines will be assessed, and due dates will be effectively extended.

The Touch-A-Truck event is happening as scheduled, but internet service for patrons will NOT be available.

No fines will be assessed during the time that the library is closed. Please be patient with us as we strive to bring you improvements that will benefit all of our patrons for years to come! The library will re-open Monday, May 13th.

This amazing and FREE family event featuring all kinds of trucks, cars and more will return this year on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. View a variety of vehicles, including a fire truck, police car, back-hoe, Army jeep, classic fin car, armored car and more!

New additions this year include a balloon artist, face painting, prize drawings and a visit from KRAV Gourmet Food Truck. This truck's wares will be available to purchase for the first time this year.

Join us in the Grand Opening of our newly remodeled storyhour room with a special storytime.   Miss Amy and Miss Jen present storytime involving Spike and her new friends geared towards children ages 2-5 and their families, but everyone is welcome.  The 2pm and 3pm storytimes are identical so please only register for 1 storytime.  When registering, please include total number of people in the family including adults.

K-6th grade kids can read to our therapy dogs!  This helps children build confidence in their reading ability with this impartial audience.  No registration required.  Sign up for a 15 minute timeslot when you arrive.  Bring your favorite book or choose one of ours.
