
K-6th grade kids can read to our therapy dogs! This helps children build confidence in their reading ability with this impartial audience. No registration required. Sign up for a 15 minute timeslot when you arrive. Bring your favorite book or choose one of ours.
Follow the yellow brick road any time between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. for games, crafts and activities based on the classic movie "The Wizard of Oz." No registration is needed for this fun, family event!
Stop in anytime we are open from Sunday, March 24th through Saturday, March 30th to participate in our NEW life-size game, Bunny Hop. Using game cards, families follow the path through the Children's Room collecting eggs while meeting Spike's newest friends. Your adventure will end in the newly finished storytime room with an activity. No registration necessary.

Join us for a fun day filled with drop-in crafts, an I Spy the Lorax activity, cakewalk and a visit with the Cat in the Hat.
You can drop in and take part in the crafts & activities and meet the Cat throughout the day.

Come join us for a hands-on workshop, in which librarians Chris Andersen and Kristin Casale showcase all kinds of apps for use in the classroom. Apps related to most subject areas for the K-6 classroom will be featured, along with assessment apps. Use our library iPads to try out the apps or bring your own tablet.
Attendees will be entered into a drawing for a $25 iTunes gift card to purchase apps.

Families with kids of all ages come and put your library knowledge to the test with a scavenger hunt. Come anytime during library hours from Saturday, February 16 through Monday, February 18. To participate check in at the children’s circulation desk. Upon completion all children will receive a small prize and families will be entered into a grand prize drawing. Teens are welcome to participate too and will receive a small prize upon completion as well.
Join Miss Lydia for fun stories and songs especially geared for your special needs children. We'll also play games and have fun with our iPads. Tips for parents will be featured as well. Our brochure provides more information.
