Vote in a mock election at Spike's Place on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6.  Come in any time all day and vote for your favorite book.  We will announce the winner the following day.  Take part in democracy at your library!

Life-Size Candyland

Play life-size Candyland between 10am and 2pm.  Get a pass and play as a family.  Draw cards, follow the path and collect treats.  Say hello to King Candy and Queen Frostine as you pass through the Peppermint Forest, Gumdrop Mountain and more!  No registration.

Come in costume to our harvest time celebration!  Bring a decorated pumpkin from home and enter our contest to win prizes.  Guess the number of pumpkin seeds and how much our giant pumpkin weighs.  There will be crafts and much more - Registration begins September 28th.

Explore the Solar System with Geoffrey Landis. 

  Geoffrey is both a NASA Scientist and a science-fiction writer. His work with NASA focuses on planetary exploration, interstellar propulsion, solar power and photovoltaics.  He holds eight patents and has authored or co-authored more than 300 published scientific papers in the fields of astronautics and photovoltaics.

Fall Food Frenzy!

Make your own delicious snacks on select Saturdays this fall. This cooking program for children is for kids age 3 through kindergarten. Activities include cooking, food crafts and stories! Register for the October 6 program starting 9/24 and registration for the December 12 program begins 12/3. Sign up for either the 10 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. slot.
