UN-Valentine's Day Party

Teens in grades 7-12: tired of all the lovey dovey Valentine’s Day mush? Maybe you’re just not into all this dating stuff. That’s okay! You are invited to the library’s UN Valentine’s Day party! We’ll play UNromantic games like “Musical Chairs of Death” and MAD LIBS UN love letters; have a candy heart stacking contest; make candy “heart breakers” and black roses out of duct tape; play Breakup Song Trivia for prizes, and of course, eat chocolate and broken heart cookies.

Just in time for the holidays, learn how to make unique and colorful paper boxes to use for giftgiving; the box itself makes a great gift! All materials provided. For teens in grades 7-12. Sign up required by calling 330-688-3295 (press 4 for the Information Desk) or by emailing the Teen Librarian (teenlibrarian@smfpl.org) with teen's name, grade, and phone number. Space limited to the first 30 to sign up.

Games Day

If you're bored by the end of Winter Break, stop by the library between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to try some new board games!  Librarians will be on hand to teach you a new game; bring friends and family for some friendly competition.  Have a great idea for your own game?  We'll have materials ready for you to create your own! 

Hunger Games: Mockingjay Premiere Party
