Summer fun kicked off with a great Pet Show on June 22. More than thirty pets participated, winning awards and meeting the children. A ladder fire truck, an ambulance, a police cruiser and "prisoner transport vehicle," a moving van, a tow truck, a postal service truck, a cement mixer and a flatbed truck were all on hand--as well as the library's "book vehicle"--for children to sit in and climb on and learn more about.
