Staff Picks
December's staff pick is Peace Like a River by first-time author Leif Enger. The novel takes place in the early 1960's in Minnesota and the characters move throughout the mid-west, including the Badlands. Reuban lives with his father, his older brother and his younger sister. An event involving his 17-year-old brother changes the family forever. It is a wonderful story about love, loss, family, faith and miracles. Highly recommended by librarian associate Chris Caccamo.
