Join us for the Library Foundation's annual fundraising event. Your $50 ticket price includes a glass of wine or beer, unlimited appetizers and desserts, and an entry ticket to our prize raffle, plus the opportunity to bid on a wonderful selection of silent auction gifts. This year’s event will again feature both desserts and appetizers from some of the best restaurants and bakeries in the area.

Your ticket also includes the chance to win a one-week stay at a 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bathroom, private oceanfront home in Wilbur-By-The-Sea, Florida (7 miles south of Daytona), which sleeps up to 8 people, compliments of Penny and Tom Loepp. Enjoy breathtaking views of miles of the “No Drive” beach from the second floor master suite. Deluxe accommodations include Spectrum and Apple streaming TV, wireless internet, woodburning and gas firepits, electric fireplace, outdoor grill, and shuffleboard. Choose to relax or bike along the shoreline. Kayaking in the nearby Halifax River is also an option. Day trips to Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, Cape Canaveral, and Disney World, as well as other Orlando attractions, are additional opportunities should you choose to venture beyond the property. However, with the beach just steps from the door, you may never want to leave. Winner will coordinate with the Loepps for an available week. Airfare is not included.

Over the years this event has generated more than $183,000 for our library, allowing us to make improvements which would not have been possible with tax money alone. These projects include a new mural in the children’s area, an anti-microbial floor in the Story Time room, conference room table with plug-in capability and fourteen chairs, the outdoor electronic message board, the new outreach vehicle in conjunction with the library, shelving and LED signage for the Tween Spot at Spike’s Place, illuminated exterior signs for the library, and with last year’s money we were able to purchase new tables and chairs for the Children's Department.

You can be a part of future transformations by purchasing tickets and attending this year’s event. To donate silent auction items, complete the donation form and return it to the library with your donation by April 3. Can’t attend the event? Consider making a tax deductible donation.
