For teens in grades 6-12, AND adults over 18

Maximum of two photos total per person may be submitted. They can be in the same category or in different categories.

4 Categories, in Teen and in Adult. Photos may be in color or in black and white.

• PEOPLE 
• LANDSCAPE/STILL LIFE 
• ANIMALS 
• ALTERED / Photoshopped 
• Use separate entry form for each photo. Photos must be mounted on sturdy black or white matte board [maximum size 8 x 10"]. Attach your completed entry form securely to the back of the matte board, oriented in the same direction as the photo. (For a sample matted entry, ask at the reference desk.)
• Judges may recategorize photos if necessary.

Entries are DUE: August 1 and August 2, 2012 at the Teen and Adult Information Desk. Entry forms are available at the desk, or download the PDF for printout at the links below.

We will have three prizes per category, per age group, compliments of the Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library:

First Place: $20.00 / Second Place: $15.00
Third Place: $10.00

Adult Best in Show: $100.00 / Teen Best in Show: $75.00

The winners will be announced, and all photos unveiled, in a special awards reception on Wed. August 8, at 7:00 p.m. All entrants are invited! Judges will be on hand for questions. Photos will be on display in the library through Aug. 16.

Winning photographers will be contacted about submitting a digital copy of their photo for display on the library’s website and online Flickr photostream.

Photographs remain property of the entrants and must be picked up at the reference desk beginning Aug. 17. Any photos not picked up after Sept. 2 will be discarded.
