Harry Nelson holds the Guinness World Record for the Most Summer Olympics Attended. At age 10, he and his family attended the 1932 Los Angeles Games and, except for the Berlin Olympics in 1936, he has been at every one since.

Mr. Nelson will talk about his Olympic experiences at the library on Thursday, December 27 at 7 p.m.

"To me, I really believe the Olympic Games help bring countries together, not in a professional sense but in terms of the honor of competing,” says Nelson. He has written a book about his 18 Olympic Games called, “Following the Flame: A 76-Year Olympic Journey.”
