Journalist and author Robin Yocum will hold a writing workshop on Wednesday, February 20 at 7 p.m. Both aspiring and accomplished writers are encouraged to attend this short workshop, which will touch on the writing process, plot construction and character development.

Yocum is the author of two novels “The Essay,” published in 2012, and “Favorite Sons,” named the 2011 USA Book News Book of the Year in the Mystery/Suspense category. He spent 11 years as a crime and investigative reporter with the Columbus Dispatch, where he received numerous writing awards, including those from the Associated Press and the Press Club of Ohio. Robin Yocum is also the author of two nonfiction books, “Dead Before Deadline,” and “Insured for Murder,” co-authored with Dispatch reporter Cathy Candisky. Copies of his most recent books will be on-hand for purchase and autographing.
