Friends' Annual Meeting: Winston Churchill

05/20/2014 - 6:30pm

As former household Chief of Staff, Anneliese Nefos will share first-hand reminiscences of history and humor regarding one of the most iconic figures of the 20th century, Sir Winston Churchill at the Friends of the Library Annual Meeting.  Born in Switzerland, Nefos worked for the Churchills in the early 1960’s and then for Interpol before emigrating to the states in 1970. She graduated from The University of Akron with degrees in Humanities and European Literature and later became a Certified Diamondologist and Appraiser.  Light refreshments will be served prior to the program at 6 PM with a short business meeting.  There is no charge, but reservations are necessary due to limited space.  Registration starts April 21.   This program is cosponsored by Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library and the Friends of the Library.
