Join former Stow resident Adam Helbling as he shares his story and reads from his book, Well… I Guess I’m Not Jesus. Helbling was a college student with bipolar disorder who was battling drug abuse and heading down the wrong path. He eventually entered a full state of psychosis and developed grandiose delusions. This led him to believe that he was the second coming of Jesus Christ. On January 22nd, 2011, while in this psychotic state, Adam flipped his vehicle five times front over front and was pronounced dead on the scene. Adam was miraculously brought back to life by EMS workers. That fateful day would become the very first of the rest of his life. Registration for this program begins on Monday, July 21. This program will be held in the Stow-Munroe Falls Room and is cosponsored by the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library and the Friends of the Library.
