A public library card is free! It gives students access to the library’s online homework databases for thousands of magazine and journal articles, photos, maps, and other information that supplement the school library’s databases, as well as the library’s young adult fiction and nonfiction collection.
Don’t have Internet at home? Or is your computer, laptop, or printer broken? Students need a library card in good standing (fines below $5) in order to access the library’s free high-speed internet terminals and to print out hard copies for assignments.
Students under the age of 18 need a parent to fill out and sign a library card application, IN PERSON at the library. All it takes is five minutes and your photo ID with proof of current address. Your student will thank you! Stop by the library today.
