Welcome to Dessert Extravaganza 2015

It’s not just about desserts!

Come to the 9th Annual Dessert Extravaganza on Thursday, April 16 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Roses Run Country Club. Yes, you’re able to taste delicious samplings from the area’s best restaurants and bakeries. But it’s also an evening of fun with your friends and fellow library supporters. This year, your $50 ticket price also includes a free glass of wine, appetizers, an entry ticket to the raffle of a unique jewelry item from Abshire & Haylan, and the opportunity to bid on a fantastic selection of silent auction gifts.

Over the years, funds from this event have helped the library make improvements which would not have been possible with tax money alone. These projects include a new mural in the children’s area, an anti-microbial floor in the Storytime Room, Conference Room table with plug-in capability and fourteen chairs, and the outdoor electronic message board.

You can be a part of future transformations by purchasing tickets and attending this year’s event. If you would like to sponsor the event, please complete the sponsor registration form and return it by March 13. To donate silent auction items, complete the donation form and return it to the library with your donation by April 6. Can’t attend the event? Consider making a tax deductible donation. The Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. If you have any questions, please call Ann Malthaner, Head of Public Relations at (330) 688-3295 ext. 110.

Please accept our sincere thanks for helping us serve the patrons of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.

Sincerely,  Douglas H. Dotterer, Executive Director, Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library
