In September 2007, the Friends of Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library established an endowment fund with the Akron Community Foundation.

The endowment fund will build on a principle that will never be spent, but rather reinvested. The principal balance will generate future interest income to be used in support of the library.

If you would like to contribute to this fund, printed envelopes are available at the Friends' Informational stand near the elevator.

Checks should be made payable to the Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, and mailed to:

To donate on line go to the Akron Community Foundation website

• Click on "make a contribution online."
• Select "Other" from the "Direct my gift to:" drop-down menu
• Be sure to type in "The Friends of SMFPL Endowment Fund" on the next line.
• Continue with the rest of the form.
