Join us at the Friends of the Library Annual Meeting as Julie Frey, Director of Museum Services and Curator at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, discusses her book, The Seiberling Legacy. The book explores the Seiberlings’ participation and influence in business and technology, health, culture, environment, community, transportation, housing and military service. During their lifetime, the family used its fortune from the tire and rubber industry to create fair housing, build a hospital, improve transportation (both locally and nationally), and preserve green space for the community’s enjoyment. The Seiberlings also funded countless arts and culture programs and organizations. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.  *At 6 PM, a short business meeting will be held prior to the presentation.   Light refreshments will be served the entire evening. This program is free and open to the public.
