Join Matthew Ball, or the Boogie Woogie Kid, as he is known, for a family-friendly Christmas concert. Ball will play holiday favorites and throw in some of his boogie-n-blues, jazz, and ragtime favorites from the 20s, 30s, and 40s. This performer has received standing ovations for his previous concerts at the library. With over 4 million YouTube views, see why Matthew is called “Michigan’s Best” with “the fastest fingers in the Midwest”!  This free library event requires tickets, which will be available at the Information Desk starting at 6 PM on Monday, October 28.  Limit four tickets per person.  This program is cosponsored by the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library and the Friends of the Library.

About the performer: Matthew Ball is a graduate of Oakland University and The University of Detroit. He holds degrees in Music, History, and Law. He trained classically at Oakland University with the internationally renowned classical pianist Flavio Varani, a graduate of The Paris Conservatory and Manhattan School of Music, who traced his own pedigree of study back to Chopin himself!
