Welcome to the Dessert Extravaganza 2012 Website!

We have a new date and a new venue for our sixth annual Dessert Extravaganza! This year’s celebration takes place on Thursday, April 19 at Silver Lake Country Club. Festivities run from 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $ 25 and will go on sale March 1st at the library’s circulation desk.

Because of the larger space that Silver Lake Country Club affords, this year we can offer guests more hearty hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, in addition to scrumptious signature desserts from area chefs.

Last year we raised over $ 13,000 for the library at this amazing fundraiser. The event included Desserts by 18 of the area’s finest restaurants and bakeries, wonderful appetizers by Giant Eagle and Acme, a Diamond necklace as a featured raffle item by Abshire & Haylan (for the fifth year in a row—Thank you, Abshire & Haylan!), Beverages Courtesy of Arabica in Stow and TTR Shipping, and a wonderful silent auction.

Please join us this year!

We invite you to participate in this gala event. If you have any questions, please call me at 330-688-3295, ext. 210. Please accept my sincere thanks for helping us serve the patrons of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.

Sincerely,
Ann Malthaner
Head of Public Relations
