Help - Ohio Libraries are in BIG TROUBLE!!!

Kids, please tell all your parents!  Ohio Libraries are in big trouble - Governor Strickland is planning to reduce funding to our libraries - which may mean that our library won't be able to have all of the fun programs, great books and movies and more that we want to be able to lend to you this year.  We only have until Thursday, June 25, so hurry and tell them to call or email their congressmen and representatives.  The address to email them is on the front of the website.  Thanks kids!

Fantasy Baseball

1st Base- Jason Morneau - 72 pts

2nd Base - Orlando Hudson - 64 pts

Shortstop - Derek Jeter - 47 pts

3rd Base - Evan Longoria - 75 pts

Catcher - Victor Martinez - 60 pts

Outfield - Jason Bay - 72 pts

Kids!  School's out and it's time to come join me at the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library for our summer reading program!  This year it is called "Reading and All That Jazz!"  We will have lots of fun being creative at the library and using our imaginations.  There are big programs every day, and lots of prizes to win for reading (or if you are a preschooler or baby - being read to).  Come in starting June 15 to sign up.

Miss Lydia's Makeover

On May 1, Miss Lydia donated 12 inches of her hair to Wigs for Kids -  a special organization that provides wigs for children who have lost their hair permanently, usually because of a disease or burns from a fire.  On the same day, Diana who works in the Adult department downstairs, donated 14" of her hair to another organization that does the same thing Locks of Love!  If you would ever like to donate yours - here are the addresses:

Wigs for Kids - must have at least 12 inches in a ponytail
