BOOK AN ADVENTURE! TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM

June 16 to August 2, for grades 7 to 12.

Win prizes for reading books, graphic novels, comic books or listening to audiobooks this summer! Be a DJ for a day at WSTB 88.9 Alternation radio, spend a day with a veterinarian, take FREE KARATE LESSONS or be a golfpro for a day! You choose which of several adventures to try for. The more you read, the more chances you have to win. Plus there are weekly drawings for Borders giftcards, Itunes giftcards, gas cards (for juniors and seniors), and free book giveaways! The GRAND PRIZE is a PORTABLE DVD PLAYER, courtesy of the Friends of the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library.

No signup needed: simply stop by the Teen Room and grab a couple of entry forms (or download forms in PDF format). When you've filled them out, put them in the prize box of your choice. You can also PLAY THE ADVENTURE GAME for a chance to win a $50 Borders giftcard: Pick up your game sheet at the Information Desk. You will need to keep this sheet and enter your answers on it throughout the summer. Each week come to the Information Desk to look at a clue card. When you figure out the week?s mystery clue, write it on the space provided on the sheet. If you miss a week, you can ask to see a past week?s clue but you cannot look at a clue yet to come! When you have filled in all your clues at the end of eight weeks, you will have discovered the secret message. Once your sheet is completely done, turn it in at the Information Desk. A teen grand prize winner will be drawn from all of the entries who have written the message correctly. Forms are due before closing on August 2.

And, if you find a HIDDEN PASSPORT in a book in the library, bring it to the desk for an INSTANT WINNER PRIZE! So what are you waiting for? Head on over to the library!
