This powerful, very intense book is many things: it is a chronicle of the decade of abuse Stacey Lannert suffered at the hands of her father from the time she was 8 until she turned 18. The extent of abuse Stacey Lannert survived is alarming, horrifying and will impel many people to step up to the plate in some fashion. The writing is excellent, detailed and crisp.
