Parking Lot Construction Project

Under construction caution tape

The library's parking lot construction project began on March 18 and will last through mid-summer. The new lot will have a safer traffic pattern and more parking spaces that are more accessible for our patrons. Water will also drain better, and drain to a larger run-off area.

How you access the library will temporarily change during the two phases of this project.

Phase 1

The library's rear entrance on Elm Road and the back parking lot are closed
Please use the library's front entrance on Beech Street and park at the front of the library.

The Drive-Up Book Drop is closed

  • Please use the outdoor book return located near the library's front doors. Look for the large, blue bin.
  • You can also return items inside. Look for the return bin near the Information Desk, which is in the center of the library, on the first floor.

The Drive-Up Window is closed
You can use curbside pickup, or come inside the library to pick up your holds.

  • Curbside holds pickup is available near the front of the library. Park in one of the designated spaces near the front of the library, call (330) 688-3295 ext. 3, and have your ID or library card ready.
  • Indoor holds pickup has been temporarily relocated to the shelves near the Information Services Desk. You may pick up your own holds and bring them to the Checkout Desk, or you can ask for assistance at the desk.

Paper recycling bins have been temporarily removed
The bins will return when the project is complete.

Phase 2
