Enter the 2026 PEEPS® Diorama Contest for All Ages

Show people your creativity! Pick a theme or scene and make a diorama using marshmallow PEEPS®. It can be anything you like, as long as it is suitable for all audiences. You can see examples of previous dioramas here.

To enter the contest, drop off your diorama and entry form on Fri., March 27, Sat., March 28, or Sun., March 29, at the Information Desk or the Children's Desk during open library hours. Entry forms are available at the Information Desk, the Children's Desk, and in the brochure holder near the elevator. Complete contest rules are below.

One prize will be awarded for each age category, and winners will be announced at our PEEPS® Diorama Contest Party on Mon., March 30, 7 - 7:30 PM. All participants and the public are invited to attend the party, where they can view all the entries on display and vote for the People's Choice Award. We can’t wait to see what you create!

PEEPS® Diorama Contest 2026 Rules

Diorama construction and dimensions

• The diorama display can have any theme, provided it is “family-friendly” (suitable for all audiences). Examples include books, movies, television shows, musicals, historical scenes, science fiction, etc.
• Diorama parts should all fit inside a space 12” x 18” x 12”. If you use a box to contain your diorama, you may remove one or more sides of the box if you wish, or you may display it within these maximum measurements without a box.
• All visible parts of the diorama should be decorated, including the top, sides, and back if there are any.
• Please do not put your name anywhere on your diorama (it needs to be anonymous for judging). Your name should only go on the entry form.
• All characters in your scene should be made using PEEPS®. Be creative—don’t be afraid to physically alter your PEEPS®. (Stale PEEPS® often work best.)

Submitting your entry

• Limit one entry per person.
• Dioramas may be submitted:
  • Fri., March 27, 9 AM - 6 PM
  • Sat., March 28, 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Sun., March 29, 1 - 5 PM
• Drop dioramas off at either the Children’s or Adult/Teen Information Desks, with a completed entry form. Entry forms are available at the Information Desk, the Children's Desk, and in the brochure holder near the elevator. Do not attach the entry form to your diorama.

Judging and winners

• The winners will be announced at our PEEPS® Party on Mon., March 30, 7 - 7:30 PM.
• The winning dioramas in each of the categories will be on display in the Children’s Room from March 31 - April 10 and must be picked up by April 17 at 5 PM; otherwise, they will be discarded. All other entries are to be taken home immediately following the party.
• Each entry will be judged on:
  • Originality
  • Overall Appearance
  • Creative Use of PEEPS®
• Prizes are provided by the Friends of the Library. 

We will do our best to keep your diorama safe, but the library is not responsible for any damage that may occur. By entering the diorama contest, you are giving the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library permission to display your diorama in the library, take pictures of your creation, and share them online.
